Today’s News:

We will continue to see unseasonable warm temperatures this week.  We start out Monday and Tuesday with some rain and we will have some sun near the end of the week.  We did experience daylight savings last weekend, so our evenings will be coming quickly, with sunset at 5:27 today!!

I thought it would be fun to make a thanksgiving table decoration as our craft today.  That will be at 12noon in the Grand Hall.  All are welcome to join in.  I would still love to see volunteers for these projects.  We have a variety of capabilities, and helpers would certainly make this a bit easier!!

Jack and Tess were unable to come in last month for their Thursday show, but they are going to make up for it this Wednesday at 2pm in the Grand Hall.  They make it a fun time for All 🤠

Prayer for All Saints Day

Lord,  Your Word instructs us to pray “for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.”

We bring before you the U.S. elections, as the American people collectively choose who will be the president of our country as well as representatives and senators in the U.S. Congress, and many others seeking positions of authority at every level.

We pray that your hand would guide the campaigns and the elections themselves, that all candidates would articulate their differing policy perspectives while speaking respectfully of their opponents and of all people made in the Image of God.

We pray for a peaceful transfer of power, regardless of whether our preferred candidates win or lose.

And we pray for all those who are ultimately elected, that you would grant each of them wisdom, humility and courage to govern our nation in ways that serve the common good, that preserve the rights of all people.  Amen.“
