Todayโ€™s News:

We have some spring like weather this week, with temperatures reaching up in the 60โ€™s on Tuesday.  It will remain warmer than usual temps, for most of the week, and then back down in the 30โ€™s for the weekend.

I know this seems crazy to assume we can start dusting our porch furniture, but I am going to go with it.  Now we are hearing that winter is more than likely on itโ€™s way out.  If I can get the porches set up, we can get out on the rare days that temperatures allow, and we have a place to sit. ๐ŸŒž

As Jesus went into the dessert for 40 days to pray and fast, so can we follow his example and prepare ourselves this Lenten season. It is through these acts of preparation that we can gain the strength to resist the evil in the world.  Let us all pray for the world, and for those around us for understanding, and a return to morality.

.Todayโ€™s prayer

Lord, we ask You to send Saint Michael and all the host of heaven to battle against the forces of evil and death in our nation. We ask specifically that the moral degradation of our country be reversed and that we will enter a time of moral renewal. We ask that all human beings be respected and their lives protected by law, and that our nation will turn to you in purity, trust, selflessness, love, and faith. Amen
