Today’s News:
There is a possibility of some snow for Christmas. That is if it doesn’t turn to rain! I would just like to see a little sunshine. I have seen enough of the cloudy gloomy days.
Christmas evokes all kinds of emotions for each of us. There is grief for those we cannot be with, anxiety to try and get everything accomplished, and the beauty of the lights and decorations that bring us back to the wonder we felt as children. But Most of all there is hope through the birth of Jesus our Savior. May we all feel the Peace and Hope this Christmas season that Jesus brings.
We wish everyone a very Merry Christmas!! There will be a few more Christmas performers this week. We have been truly blessed with the wonderful music of the Season. Many thanks to all the amazing performers for sharing their time and talent!
Please let the care staff know if there will be residents going out for the holiday. If you can give us a pick -up time, we will prepare any medications that might need to accompany them. If families are planning to use some of our common areas to gather in, please check with the front desk, as someone may have already reserved the space. We are happy to provide these areas, and ask that they be left as they were found. God Bless
Today’s Prayer
Lord, in this holy season of prayer and song and laughter, we praise you for the great wonders you have sent us: for shining star and angel’s song, for infant’s cry in lowly manger. We praise you for the Word made flesh in a little Child. We behold his glory, and are bathed in its radiance. Amen
