Temperatures will be a little cooler this week and we may get a bit of rain on Monday and Tuesday.  It isn’t good to be outside currently, with the smoke causing hazardous air quality.  We recommend that residents do their walking inside until we can see an improvement in the air quality.☀️

We have decided to hold on buying lettuce while the risk of bacterial contamination is a possibility.  We will not be buying berries for our fruit cups as well.  We will do what we can to keep our residents safe from contamination.  We are grateful for the fresh vegetables we are able to get from our own gardens.

Ed Young will be in today for music in the Grand Hall, then Jim Herrman will be here on Wednesday at 2pm.

Barb and the band will be back on Sunday afternoon at 1pm.  Hopefully the entire band will be able to perform.  We have had difficulty getting us all together, but so far it’s looking good for Sunday. Everyone is invited to come out for our show.  We plan to include light refreshment.

Todays Prayer:

Dear Creator, we pray for the precious air we breathe. We ask that You clear away smoke, smog, and all pollution. Protect those working outside and animals affected by bad air. Give us the wisdom to take care of our earth. Help us breathe deeply and stay healthy. Amen.
