Today’s News:  

It’s hard to say if we will have a white Christmas!  We go from cold with a bit of snow, to warmer rainy dull days.  This week will be no exception.  We will see a bit of everything again this week.

This week our Christmas calendar really picks up.  Monday we will have Ed Young at 1pm, Tuesday at 4pm I will be singing some Christmas songs during dinner, Wednesday at lunch our grandson Paulson will be playing a few carols on the violin, Thursday at lunch Melissa Brown will play Christmas piano music, and at dinner Joe Lombardo will be here with a few of his favorite singers, Mary will be our usual dinner piano music, and then she is back on Saturday at 2pm with 2 vocalists, and we end the week on Sunday with Billy McAllister at 2pm.  It is an exciting week!!

Today’s Prayer

Heavenly Father, This third week of Advent, let us remember that the good news of Jesus’ birth brings us great joy this Christmas season. Our joy comes from you. That joy that flooded the hearts of the shepherds, the angels, the wise men, the hosts of heaven, and Mary and Joseph is the joy that still has the power to overwhelm our hearts with rejoicing. Flood our hearts with joy this Advent season as we reflect on the good news of Jesus’ birth. In Jesus’ precious name, we pray. Amen
