Today’s News:

The weather wasn’t quite as bad as first predicted.  Actually, it was a pleasant week.  This week looks as if it will be even nicer.

We were able to harvest the rest of the vegetable garden, and now the sheep are enjoying any leftovers! The harvesting was the easy part, but the work is going to be putting it all up.  Which means more canning, and freezing.  I may even do a bit of dehydrating.  I do love sundried tomatoes!

We have cancelled a few of our events due to Covid.  We are trying to keep our residents as safe as possible.  We ask that anyone who is experiencing any cold symptoms to please refrain from visiting.

We do have our vaccination forms from the pharmacy,  and we will be  offering the following to our residents:  flu, covid, shingles, and pneumonia.  Please stop at the front desk to complete the form.  It is only one form that you can check which vaccines your resident will need.  The Covid vaccine will be given separate from the others, as some do experience a mild reaction. If this is not completed soon, you may miss the opportunity to have the convenience of the vaccination here.

Today’s prayer

God, grant that I may continue in health today.
Wherever I go, protect me from germs and viruses and bacteria. Keep me safe from injury of body, mind or soul,
and bring me to this day’s end
filled with health and energy.
I pray that this day and many more, all may go well with me and  those around me.   Amen
