Today’s News:

The weather forecast for this week is calling for rain for the last half of the week.  The garden can really use it!  The corn is going gang busters, due to the diligent watering.

This Wednesday is our Memorial service for past residents.  We will have a small ceremony in the Grand Hall with music and refreshments.  We will be posting a list in the Grand Hall of those residents we will be honoring.

We have a very busy week ahead of us.  Along with our Memorial Service, we also have several performers in this week.  Please look through the schedule, and don’t miss out on our very talented guests.  The staff is good about reminding residents of events of the day!  We also have a visiting Priest

Proverbs 17:22  A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a broken spirit saps a person’s strength

To be cheerful is to be ready to greet others with a welcome, a word of encouragement, and enthusiasm for the task at hand, and a positive outlook on the future. Such people are as welcome as pain relieving medicine.
