Today’s News:

We did get that much needed rain last week.  This week we may see a bit of more and temperatures are going to be milder, staying mostly in the upper 70’s.  It looks like a perfect day for the 4th.

We know that families like to be together on the holidays and this is wonderful.  Please give us a call and let us know if residents will be going out, so we can have them and any medications ready.  We appreciate the consideration.

We will be putting in a memorial walk in the east yard, next to the pasture. We are very excited to be starting this project.  We have been planning it for several years, and we are now able to,  get it started.  It will be about 800 feet of sidewalk with benches along the way.  The pavement will be stamped to represent a rosary.  Several of the benches have been donated by families in memory of a loved one whom we have cared for.

We do have live music on the 4th at 4pm in the Grand hall.   Dinner will be early that day at 3pm, for the holiday. Have a very Blessed and safe day.

Today’s Prayer

Dear God, thank you for the opportunity of  freedom from sin and death that you provided for us through Jesus Christ

On this Independence Day, we are reminded of all those who have sacrificed for our freedom. I pray that we do not take this freedom, both physical and spiritual, for granted.  Bless those who have served and continue to give their lives for our freedom.

Help us to live our lives in a way that glorifies you, Lord. Give us the strength to be a blessing in someone’s life today, and grant us the opportunity to lead others into the freedom that can be found in knowing Jesus Christ. Amen
